Day 19 (26 weeks, 6 day)

Brittany and Gaines both made it through the weekend with Reed. Brittany continues to show no signs of infection and Gaines' heart rate continues to look great.

Reed has already left this morning. It was heartbreaking, he gave me a hug and said "bye-bye daddy". He is so hard to say goodbye to. Brittany or I will post more later...we are both tired from seeing Reed this weekend.

In Texas praying for your family during this trying time. Almost 27weeks! That's great! Tell little Gaines to just be comfy where he is.

Hi! I have been reading your blog for a while now but never commented. Anyways my water broke at 28 weeks and I delivered my son at 30 weeks...I won't get into the rest of my story because it could get discouraging. I was just curious if they have been doing biophysical profile sonos on you? They did one every other day for me, so I was wondering. If so what are those looking like?

Will continue to pray for a 28 week baby!!!!!!

We are still praying. Glad to see that Reed was able to see the pandas at the zoo. Beau is so right about how crazy people are during cherry blossom time. We lived outside DC for over 20 years and only ventured down to see them a few times.

Can't imagine being in your situation, but I know that God takes care of His children. It sounds like you're getting the best of medical care, and God has sent some angels to help you while you're so far from home. There are lots of us out here who do not know you but are praying for you, and we know that little Gaines will make his debut in God's time. In the meantime, rest in God's peace and take comfort in knowing that so many are praying for you.

Hi Brittany and Beau. There was not post this morningh so I called Lauren and ask if she had talked with you all. Lauren said you were good.
You guys are so
important to so many people. The first thimg we do is look at the blog and then we smile when we read that all the heart beats are good.
I was talking to Trish my new neighbor and found out she knows you and she had a similar experiance whit her 4th child.

Hi Daniel Family,

I have been following your blog for the last couple of weeks and have been praying for you all. While I haven't been in your shoes entirely, I have been on bed rest both modified and total (in the hospital and out). I also know what it is like to have the birth of your baby be imminent and know that they WILL be early and that there will be issues. Please know that we are thinking of you in Ohio and you can contact me at the address below if you have any questions about what this walk is like or if you are just bored!

Blessings,
Jennifer

Hello again! Congrats on 27 weeks! After my water broke (at 19 weeks), I made my husband measure my belly at least 3 times a week. I was like you were and didn't even look pregnant. I remember getting so excited when I was 1/8 inch bigger! Anyway, I pray that you can continue "baking" that little boy of yours! And don't worry about the doughnuts...get that little guy as fat as you can!

Take care,
Trisha
