Thomas Gaines Daniel was born at 9:35 AM Eastern. He came out crying and his color looked good. He has a lot of black hair. We don't know anymore at this time...he is with the
NICU team. We will post an update once we have
more information from the
NICU team regarding Gaines. Brittany is doing fine.

Oh sweet Lord please wrap your arms around this family and their team of doctors tighter than ever before.
I am praying for you!
I am praying!!! (I was so shocked to wake up and see this post!) I am praying for baby Gaines' health & Brittany's as well!! ((hugs))
This may be a dumb question, but are the doctors doing anything to ensure she doesn't get blood clots from being on bed rest? Unfortunately it's a worry I have. ;)
Congratulations!!!!
Praying for your wonderful family!
Thank God he was born alive and seemingly well. I can't wait to hear more and will continue to pray since I know he is far from out of the woods..
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!!!
Still praying in Oneonta,

Praying, praying, praying over here in Philadelphia. Please God, help this family and help little Gaines to grow strong quickly so that they can return to some semblance of normal.
God, please be with the NICU team and Beau and Brittany!
I'm praying for the Peace of God to cover you like a blanket that transcends all understanding. God is GOOD! He has a plan for your family and for little Gaines.
CONGRATULATIONS on your newest addition! I will be praying that he breathes well, holds his temperature, eats by mouth and gains weight very, very quickly so he can come home! How wonderful that you were able to make it as far as you did. God is good.
I have been following your blog for a while. I have been thinking of y'all and praying for the 4 of you and will continue to do so. I pray that you both can find God's peace and comfort during this time and that Gaines will be fine.

Congratulations! 29 weeks is amazing compared to 24! Brit, just by making it to 29 you made a HUGE difference for Gaines's health!
How wonderful you have made it through the delivery so well. We are praying for all of you and your Mom, Dad, Abby and Reed. They will be there soon!! We are anxious to know how much he weighs. God knew your mom (and the rest of the family)would be coming today to comfort you and for her to be able to be with you, as it is so hard for a mother to be that far away from her little girl!! We love you and will be waiting to hear the news.
Love,
Aunt Sherry
Also, these quadruplets were born at 29 weeks, 6 days at the end of February. Today they are all healthy and home (after a little less than 2 months) and had a very uneventful NICU stay.

Congratulations!! Brittany, you did such a great job keeping Gaines for as long as you did. We will continue to pray for you all.
Congratulations! I've been following along and praying since that first week you were in the hospital. I wasn't able to check the news yesterday, so I was amazed to see that Gaines made his entrance today. Please know that many prayers are being said for your family, and especially Gaines as the doctors take care of his little body.
Beau, Brittany, and Reed,
Congratulations on the birth of Thomas Gaines! I've been praying for you all since Brittany was first admitted... I'm so thankful that Gaines stayed put for 5 weeks! I will continue to pray and read and wait until Gaines can go home with you!
And Reed, tell your Daddy to take pictures of when you first meet Gaines - it's a precious picture we'd all love to see!
With love and prayers from CA,
Jill
