Day 17 (26 weeks, 4 days)

Same old, same old. Brittany and Gaines are both fine as we begin day # 17 in DC.

Reed did make it to DC with no problems. My parents said he did great on the airplane (of course he had three suckers). I'm sure the other passengers were extremely appreciative of those three suckers.

When he arrived, I met them in the lobby of the hospital. When I got off the elevator, he sprinted across the lobby laughing and squealing as he ran (it was an awesome feeling). I bent down and stretched out my arms waiting for a hug (Normally he doesn't want to be picked up. No matter how excited he is to see you, he will run to you and then stop just short). Yesterday, Reed ran straight into my arms and wrapped his arms around my neck. I picked him up and he actually kissed me on my cheek several times and continued to squeal and laugh.

That experience was awesome. We are so excited to have Reed here. We will keep you guys updated as the weekend progresses.

Beau

That's just great, I had a dream that it was a wonderful reunion, so obviously I had to jump on the computer and check up on you all.

Awwww, that is so precious. I don't get that anymore with my boys being 11 and 16 now. They act like I have the plague sometimes...lol. They do tell me they love me all the time though, it's just the hugs aren't as often. Enjoy your precious boy.

I sent a little care package this week and just checked USPS for delivery confirmation. It says they left a notice. I'm afraid that notice may never get to you. If it isn't there, please email me and I'll try to fix it.

I know it must have been the best feeling ever to have reed run to you like that and kiss on you!!

This must be hard on him, too, but remember...ALL of you are in our prayers here in Andy!

It brought tears to my eyes to read about the reunion with Reed!! How awesome for family to be bringing him up to see you.

I am SO glad that there is nothing new with the medical stuff too!!

We had some friends come over to our house tonight. It was suppose to be 4 couples (including us) and their kids but it ended up being just my husband and I and 3 other ladies. My poor husband!!! He was a trooper. We had a great time and I am exhausted and heading to bed. On my way up to bed I need to stop by my 8 year old daughter's room to tell her and her friend to GO TO SLEEP!! Holy cow it is almost 11 p.m. They are going to be SO tired when we get up for church tomorrow.

Take care,
Tonia
