Day 15 Continues

Brittany is taking a nap right now. They monitored Gaines' heart rate this morning and it was perfect. The nurses just took Brittany's temperature and it was perfectly normal. The calm before the storm continues. At some point we know our world is going to be turned upside down and we are going to have our second son.

We did get a care package today from a nonprofit organization known as Until Journeys End. Their mission is to provide a support system to families living away from home to be with a loved one in medical crisis. I thought I would post their website so others could find out about this organization.

I did have a good talk with some of the nurses this morning about prayer and how God has answered so many of ours. I told them that we know there is really nothing medically anyone can do for us at this time. We know that all of this in God's hands. We know that God is in our hospital room protecting Brittany and Gaines. We know that once Gaines is born, God will work through the NICU Doctors to continue to work his will.

Please continue to pray for no infection. We know firsthand that prayers are answered.

Beau

I found you guys via blog land and just want to let you know that I am praying for your special family and precious sons. My son was in the Georgetown Univ. NICU for 10 weeks so I know how scary the unknown can be. I also now live in Nashville, TN so I always have a soft heart for southerners stuck up in yankee land :). God bless you all! Kelly S.

Hi,
I went to Google and typed in Cord Blood Donation and got LOTS of websites. Some are for storage but others appear to be for true donations for research. If it is something you are interested in, it should be easy to find an organization.

I continue to pray for you all and am excited that your son is arriving soon (if he's not already there!)
