Going Home!

We just found out about an hour ago that Gaines' transfer was approved! We are beyond excited. We don't know when exactly but it will probably be this week. He'll be at Baptist South as long as they have room for him. Baptist South is directly across the street from my office and has a level 3 NICU (same as GW). This is such an answered prayer and proof for any doubters that God DOES hear and answer prayers. I'll post more info as we know more. Probably sometime tomorrow.

Love to all!

Brittany

Wow! What an answer to prayer. I've been praying so hard that you wouldn't have to go home without Gaines. And to have him just across the street from your office. Our Father even answers above what we ask. Isn't He amazing!!!!!

That is GREAT news... I am so happy for you all. I worked at Baptist South for about 4 years and have been in that NICU many times delivering reports and such. I always prayed for those little ones in there as I was running around doing my work. It was such an "eye opening" experience for me. Not to mention, my neice spent some time in that very same NICU about 5 years ago so I am partial. I know Gaines will get the best care there.
sidenote: a very dear friend of ours, Robert Pelt, works for Alfa.

I am glad you will be so close to Gaines. It is just all working out just right.. I will keep praying.

Love, The Murphy family

Thank You, Jesus! I check your every update, and I'm so glad you will have your family back together at home now.

My friend Penny Garren was just admitted to GWU Hospital today. She's at 25 weeks, with many complications. She has to stay in the hospital until the baby is born. They lost their last child in utero through horrible circumstances. Maybe you could stop by and see her before you head home. I know hearing about and seeing your miracle will encourage her.

God's unfailing love endures forever. I'm so glad.

Beau & Brittany,

I am soooooooo excited for you guys. Now Gaines will be right across the street from us and hopefully at home in his own little bed before too long! I think I mentioned this before but, Mike Epton's (in accounting) wife works at Baptist South in the NICU. Be sure to let her know that Gaines is an Alfa baby. Take care and let me know if there is anything I can do to help you guys.

Rhonda

P.S. I bet Reed's friends will be glad to see him back at Little Alfa.

Wow! How awesome! I hope and pray that everything goes smoothly for the transfer home. On Sunday morning, my 4/5 year old Sunday school class was singing "God is so good, God is so good, God is so good, He's so good to me. He answers prayer..." What a tremendous blessing that God has brought you and your family this far. I will keep praying for you all.

I hope you're able to keep up your blog after you return home. :)
